MBA Results...Part One
Hmm....the year started with the IIM short-list being declared on the 2nd of January...but sadly, didnt make to any one of the them...had a dream to go to Bangalore...but i think i never worked for my dream and that is why didnt make it to any of the IIMs...one important thing i have learnt...dream but always work for the dreams...
Arrived 3rd January and in came NMIMS result...had expected a good written score...because exam did go well..but never understood what kind of scoring NM has been following...finally, after a lot of waiting results finally came out with me clearing the written exam with a merit rank of 834...which was disappointing...
So, two results out...and me not at all satisfed with the performances...didnt know what was going to happen..a bit down and 4th and 5th went away in thinking about future...
In came 6th which has been a very important day in my life now...after being rejected at IIMs...wasnt knowing how much i was going to get in CAT...got up 8:30 and sat directly in front of the computer...also had JMET results around the corner...but wasnt at all interested in JMET results..because the paper went really pathetic...and wasnt expecting at all in JMET...suddenly found a thread at PaGalGuy.com telling that the CAT score-card...had my heart in my mouth...when i was putting the CAT Test Registration Number and the Date of Birth...and clicked Submit...................and then found the percentile to be 97.81.....Yahhhhhhooooooo !!!!
Was really elated by looking at the result...but then came the surprise of the day when i checked in the JMET result and found myself having a rank of 676....that just added to my happiness...i was not knowing what was happening...but i was HAPPY, yes i was HAPPY !!!! Finally, at some where around 2 in the afternnon brush kiya and then took a bath and was really feeling refreshed...
then came in 7th...again got up at 10 and sat directly in front of computer...was expecting SNAP results...and was expecting a good result...finally got to saw my results which was 109....!!!!! Again, very happy with the performance...and the day finished off with filling up the form of all Symbiosis institutes....
At the end of Sunday, learnt a very important lesson and now would have to work up for a very bad weakness of mine...and that is COMPLACENCY..!!! After three good results....i was not at all interested in giving XAT...thought that i have achieved everything in life...which is the worst weakness i have.....anyways, the week ahead would be concentrated on improving the weaknesses...and thinking of the things which i would like to improve in myself after my birthday !!!!
A very relieved but still hungry guy !!!
